Brian is a lifelong sports fan who realized early on how important the mental game is to success on the athletic field. As a two-sport athlete in high school, he learned the value of confidence as well as the mental game kicking field goals. During his senior season, he realized that “Kicking is a skill that would be automatic if not for the mental challenges involved.”
At Wofford College (Spartanburg, SC), Brian played soccer for four years, while earning a bachelor’s in psychology. He then went into coaching, earning a USSF C license. His time as a coach reaffirmed his belief in the importance of the mental side of sports, so he decided to combine his coaching skills with his psychology knowledge to become a sport psychology consultant.
Now, with a master’s degree from John F. Kennedy University (Pleasant Hill, CA), Brian is committed to helping athletes define success and achieve that success through mental skills and training.
