Alumni Hall of Fame
As we enter year 19 of BaxterSports Camp, the original youngest campers are now graduated from college! It’s really hard to believe. This year we thought it would be an awesome idea to highlight some of our former campers and coaches who have excelled in sports on a collegiate level.
Here is our first of the 2026 Class of the BaxterSports Hall of Fame!
Atticus Sappington
Soccer was Atticus’ main sport growing up. A hard-worker and tremendous athlete, he was a known goal scorer for Mt Tabor Soccer Club Elephant Stompers, and then played club for Eastside Timbers and Westside Timbers. He was a fixture in the early soccer camps and eventually all sports camps. He converted to football and also became a BaxterSports coach in high school.
He played 3 years at OSU, before transferring to Oregon, where his team made it all the way to the NCAA semifinal. We wish Atticus the best of luck in his quest for the next level!
Hawk Baxter
Hawk was the original camps, and one of the first campers to become a coach. He also played basketball and ultimate frisbee growing up, and joined the Franklin High football team as a kicker. A fierce presence on the field, Hawk was a captain and won multiple state titles for club (Eastside Timbers) and high school (Franklin).
Hawk played one year at Humboldt State University, and now serves as the President and captain of the University of Oregon Club Soccer team.
Ellie Armbruster
Yet another multi-sport star growing up, Ellie excelled in soccer and basketball, and track. She came to many camps, and was in the first ever BaxterSports Youth Leadership Development Program. Ellie was an awesome coach and even co-directed a camp before heading off to college.
She competed in track and field for 4 years at Gonzaga University, and graduated in the class of 2025
Vincent Rose
Vince was a 4 year started who played every game of his career for the Franklin Boys Soccer Team. He was a captain and OYSA State Player of the Year, leading the LIghtning to the 2019 Oregon State Championship.
He coached several years at the All Sports, Soccer, and Competitive Soccer Camps. Vince played a year of college soccer in England, before returning to Portland.
Autumn Ost
Autumn was a regular at soccer and all Sports Camps growing up, and was part of the first ever BaxterSports Youth Leadership Development Program. She played soccer and cross country at Franklin, and coached for several years. Autumn went on to run cross country at Boise State University, and graduated in the class of 2025
Cash Landau
A BaxterSports lifer, Cash was a regular at camps from elementary through middle school, and went right into coaching at the camp after that. He played soccer, basketball, track, and football.
He signed at Washington State University last year as a tight end, and redshirted his freshman season. We are all looking forward to cheering him on the next 3 years.
King Soloman Hamilton
KIng played multiple sports at Franklin High School, competing in track and field and football, where he was a team captain. He oached for a few summers with us. While he didn’t come to the camps as a camper, he fit right in as a coach with his energy, knowledge, and sense of humor.
King is currently attending Lewis and Clark College, joining the football team as a linebacker.
