High School Camps

Learn to Compete, Learn to Lead,
Learn to Coach

We often get asked the question: Is my kid too old to be a camper?  Our answer: Not just yet! We offer a variety of summer opportunities for teens to continue to grow their potential.

Compete: You are never too old to have fun and learn new skills. Rising 9th graders can enjoy being the oldest, wisest campers, as they continue to improve their athletic performance in our Competitive All Sports and Competitive Soccer Camps.

Lead: Leadership skills are paramount for high school athletes.  Through our Youth Leadership Development Program, rising 9th-10th-11th graders are given the opportunity to work on public speaking, problem-solving, communication, planning and executing activities, and more.

Coach: So you’re ready to be a coach? Rising 10-12th graders can apply to level up to become a part of the BaxterSports team.  At what other summer job do you get to play games, be outside, stay active, and make a difference in kids’ lives?

Your Teen’s Summer Starts Here

Does your high school soccer player need to prepare for club tournaments and school tryouts? In this advanced level soccer training, they will get those extra touches that will get them into the zone: learn new moves, be consistently challenged, improve focus and confidence, and have fun even while under pressure!

Is your 10-14 year old kind of over talent show and wacky hair day, but they would still love a week of camp?  Is he or she an athlete with the drive to compete or are they maybe interested in high school sports?  If so, this is the camp for them. Each day, campers will immerse themselves in a new sport, honing their technique in the morning before putting those skills into action in afternoon games within a week-long competitive tournament.

They will also focus on HOW to compete. Our staff of excellent coaches will mentor them in character development, growth mindset, sportsmanship, coachability, and leadership, within a multi-sport environment.

Competitive Soccer Camp is for high school players who are serious about their game and dedicated to increasing performance and success. They are ready to move to the next level, whether that means joining a more competitive team or playing in a more advanced league.

Our Youth Leadership Development Program is a week-long camp for rising 9th-10th-11th graders which provides an intensive training experience through a combination of educational and practical exercises. Teens learn the mental and physical aspects of coaching and leadership within the environment of a simultaneously occurring All Sports or All Girls All Sports Camp.

Since 2008, BaxterSports has been giving high school athletes in our community the opportunity to build and flex their leadership muscles as coaches at our camps. Successful candidates bring the three Es: energy, empathy, and effort. Besides getting to have fun with kids and play sports outside all day, our coaches receive thorough training in the following job/life skills: professionalism, engagement, proactivity/reactivity, and communication.
